 The Mississippi Speech-Language and Hearing Association will host its Annual Conference at the Hilton Hotel in Jackson, Mississippi.  We hope you will join us. 

 We anticipate that this will be our biggest and best conference ever!  The conference expects to attract over 500 speech-language and hearing professionals from across the state of Mississippi and neighboring states.  This will be a perfect opportunity to reach the MSHA’s membership and other professionals who attend the conference.

 Costs and Registration

 The cost to exhibit is $450.   If your organization is part of the government or qualifies as a non-profit organization, the exhibitor cost is $150.

Due to limited storage space, packages arriving more than one week in advance will be charged storage fees.
 
C.O.D. shipments will not be accepted.
 
MSHA nor the Hilton Hotel accepts responsibility for packaging, shipping and sealing freight.  It will be the exhibitor's responsibility to ship and/or remove all remaining packages within 3 days of the conclusion of the meeting. 
MSHA will not ship any packages following the conference.  MSHA nor the Hilton Hotel assumes responsibility for damage or loss of merchandise sent to the hotel for storage.

Special Exhibitor Opportunities

Continental breakfast on Thursday and Friday will be held in the Imperial Hallway.  Door prize Drawings will be held during the Reception on Thursday.  If you wish to donate a prize for the drawings, you must fill out the information on your exhibit registration form.

There will be an area for materials in the exhibit hall.  Non-exhibiting companies may ship materials and have them placed on the tables for $100, to cover labor and handling charges.  Extra materials will be discarded.  Materials will be put on tables by MSHA staff who will also dispose of any remaining materials at the conclusion of the conference.

 Rooms have been blocked for exhibitors at the Jackson Hilton Hotel. Rules and Regulations

  

No interference with light space or visibility of other exhibitors is allowed. 

 

Only firms that have engaged exhibit space may advertise, canvass, solicit business, etc., and then only in the space designated.

Electrical needs exceeding standard 120 volt/20 amp wall plug service will be accessed a service fee based on your specific electrical needs. 

The Hilton Hotel reserves the right to approve any item to be displayed on the property.  The following items should be brought to the attention of the catering department for approval:  items that weigh over 150 pounds or items that require casters or dollies, computers requiring access to telephone lines, items that contain liquids or acids, items that have a motor, are fuel operated or electrical connections, items that make loud noises, animals, banners or posters.

All supplies and non-exhibit materials must be stored in a place that is not visible to the attendees, such as under tables or behind displays.

The exhibitor(s) is responsible for damage to property.  No signs or other articles can be affixed, nailed or otherwise attached to walls, doors, etc. in such a manner as to deface or destroy them.  Likewise, no attachments can be made to the floors by nails, screws, or and other devices that would damage them. 

Security will be provided from 7:00p.m.-7:00a.m. Wednesday and Thursday at no additional cost to exhibitors.  However, provision of security services is not a guarantee by MSHA or Hilton Hotel against loss by theft.  Exhibitors should take reasonable precautions to ensure protection of valuable property.

The exhibitor shall indemnify and hold harmless the Mississippi Speech-Language Hearing Association from any and all damages and liability from anything whatsoever arising from or about the occupancy of space by the exhibitor(s) or the exhibitor(s)’s agents or employees, and from any loss or damage arising from any fault or negligence on the exhibitor(s)’s part to comply with any of the covenants, terms and conditions herein contained or otherwise.

All exhibits proposed by the exhibitor shall be described in the exhibitor application and is subject to approval by MSHA.

All space is leased subject to these conditions.  MSHA has the right to remove any exhibitor in violation of policies and procedures.
